

I tried various methods to stop this by tweaking with wine config, but I either loose my keybord or loose fullscreen. Using Managed="Y" (also set DXGrab="Y"!) everything works, but my kde kicker is on top of Diablo's fullscreen window and moving my mouse to the edges of the screen makes switches to another of my virtual desktops.

I also updated Diablo 2 to 1.10 which is current.īig problem is my desktop. I needed to enable "HardwareAcceleration" = "Emulation" (remove the ) and sound is now halfway OK. Now Diablo 2 uses nice 3d while having good performance.įine tuning: I used nvsound and with this sound is staccato-like broken. Now run the vid test again and selct glide. Solution: Searchin google for diablo2 glide wrapper and extract the contents to the Diablo 2 folder. After running the videotest (D2VidTst.exe) Diablo 2 runs when DirectX is selected, but I want 3d and Direct 3d won't work. So far so good, now lets get Diablo going. When finished, copy the d2music.mpq from the play disc to your diablo folder and find a way to circumvent the cd check.
